Walking from the bus stop to my office this morning, I was surprised and disappointed to see that Masin’s Fine Furnishings is closing. I have never bought furniture at Masin’s. I’ve never even been inside, because the price tags I can see from the window tell me that I couldn’t afford a Christmas tree ornament in that store.
