I was among the lucky people who found themselves with more work than usual during the pandemic. As things have started opening back up, my work load has not changed. But as I find myself budgeting more time for shuttling kids to activities, something has to give, and so far that something has been blogging. So, better late than never, here is part one (the May part) of a round up of articles I wrote that were published in May and June.

I took a social media break in May and even though I’m “back” I’m not letting it take as much time as it used to. In May, I only published two posts to the blog. Ironically, neither of them were among the top 10 most-read posts of the month.
Popular Posts
As usual, the top post was about the K-drama Amnesia Trope. It was followed by another K-drama trope, the Drunken Piggyback Ride. After that the most popular posts were:
A Dark and Lonely Space at Pacific Northwest Ballet (This ballet by Kyle Davis was performed in 2019 – I wonder why people were searching for it this month? Perhaps in anticipation of the Next Step program for this year, which was very good even though I didn’t watch it early enough in the digital run to blog about it.
Common Queries
Five of the top ten search queries leading to my blog were variations on “kdrama amnesia.” My own name was the second most common search term – I guess that’s good. There were two variations of “uniqlo mask review” in the top 10. The only really interesting search term this month was “randall scotting,” who of course was the countertenor in Flight.
