June Bylines
Another month has passed. For the completists out there, here is a list of my articles that published in June, and a peek at blog statistics. Good times.
Articles
I’m getting up to speed at Earth911.com, and really enjoying writing about environmental topics again after several years focusing elsewhere. In June, Earth911 published:
For ParentMap, I covered Woodland Park Zoo’s efforts to become more accessible, and I got to do a round up of Family Friendly Music Festivals.
I got to attend the Death Cab for Cutie show thanks to Three Imaginary Girls.
Blog Stats
I still haven’t got the hang of blog stats now that there are so many ways to look at them. But it seems like traffic was up about 15% from May. I saw a lot of dance in June, and unsurprisingly, my most popular posts in June were all ballet-related:
- Love and Ballet and Christopher Wheeldon at PNB
- Pacific Northwest Ballet Season Encore
- Farewell Karel
- Little Mortal Jump at Pacific Northwest Ballet
- Love and Ballet: Passionate Rabbit at PNB
Most visitors came from the U.S., Peru, and France. They were referred to this page mostly by Twitter and Facebook, with Pacific Northwest Ballet and ParentMap distant thirds.
Search terms
Search terms are mostly hidden nowadays, but I did find these three:
nude body painting tumblr
fremont solstice,
joe vs the volcano tattoo
The first two are obviously because the Fremont Solstice festival was in June. I didn’t write about it this year, but I did last year. The last one landed here because I do, in fact, have a tattoo inspired by the movie Joe vs. the Volcano. (That movie is also where I got the name Crooked Road.)
